Studio
Tier access: PLUS PREMIER — CX Studio is available on Plus (Standard) and Premier (Enhanced). It is not available on Starter or Growth.
Overview
Studio — the Automation Studio Center — is where you build and manage the automation flows that power your customer experience: greetings, menus, routing, FAQ answering, order tracking, product recommendations and more. Flows are organised into categories, and each category groups the flows for one part of your automation system. From this hub you create new flows, import existing ones, and manage translations, configurations, audit history and exports per category.
Where this fits: Studio is the advanced, configurable layer of Tactful's agentic automation. Every tier gets agentic-powered automation out of the box (FAQ answering, product recommendation, order tracking); CX Studio orchestration — multi-step flows, conditional logic and handoff design — is the Plus/Premier upgrade on top of that engine.

|---|---|
Header actions | Flows Audit, Profile Settings, and Create New (New Flow / Import Flow). |
Search & filter | Search categories by name and switch between category view and All Flows. |
Category table | Every automation category, each with its own Translations, Configurations, Audit and Export actions. |

Header actions
What it does: The top-right controls let you audit, configure, and create flows for the whole workspace.
How to use it:
Flows Audit — open the workspace-wide audit view to review changes and activity across all flows.
Profile Settings — open the automation profile settings for this workspace.
Create New — open the create menu to add a new flow.
The Create New menu offers two options:
New Flow — build a new automation flow from scratch in the flow editor.
Import Flow — import a flow definition (for example, one exported from another category or workspace).
Search & filter
What it does: Helps you find the right category or switch to a flat list of all flows.
How to use it:
Search category — type to filter the category list by name.
All Flows — switch from the category grouping to a view of every flow in the workspace.
Category table & per-category actions
What it does: Lists every automation category in the workspace. Each row exposes four actions scoped to that category.
How to use it:
Translations — manage the localised text for the flows in this category (ties into Language Settings).
Configurations — open and edit the configuration of the flows in this category.
Audit — review the change history and activity for this category's flows.
Export — export this category's flow definitions (which can then be re-imported via Create New → Import Flow).
Trigger Agent step
What it does: Inside a flow, the Trigger Agent step (in the flow editor's Actions palette) invokes one of your workspace AI agents mid-flow, captures its reply, and lets the flow continue using that response — so you can blend a guided flow with an agent's answer.
How to use it:
In the flow editor, open the Actions palette and add the Trigger Agent step to the canvas.
Agent — choose the workspace agent to invoke.
Message — set what to send the agent: static text, or a value from the conversation using a Mustache expression (e.g.
{{context.lastMessage}}).Response Parameter — name the parameter that stores the agent's reply, so later steps can use it (e.g.
{{params.agentResult.response}}).Return Structured Output (optional) — enable to shape the agent's response with a JSON schema.
